This Axiom X wire is made in Germany under private label for SST Consumables by one of the global leaders that manufacture coated EDM wires. This product are drawn under the same stringent European quality controls as the manufacturers' branded products.
Axiom X wire is manufactured to a tensile strength of 520 N/mm2 and comes in .010" and .012" diameter on a variety of spool sizes. It features a pure copper core with a high zinc brass coating (CuZn50). This wire exhibits fast and precise cutting characteristics and is particularly well suited for the use on Charmilles machines with SWX cutting technologies.
